Jayden and Ashley Mendez, your missionaries on the college campuses of Maputo, Mozambique
OUR MISSION
Ashley and I have been attending Arkansas Tech University for the last four years. While attending school we have been heavily involved with Chi Alpha. In 2022-23 Jayden was a CMIT intern with Chi Alpha at Arkansas Tech. The Lord called Ashley and I both to full time missions while in college but we did not know when or where until this last year when we felt the Lord leading us to overseas missions in Africa. We will be joining Matt and Andrea Marlin as Missionary Associates in Maputo, Mozambique for the next two years. We will be training and learning how discipleship and campus missions happens in the continent of Africa. Our hope is that as we learn how to make disciples of all nations in Mozambique we will be trained and equipped to be sent out to the country of Tanzania. Our hope is to see the future leaders of the continent of Africa know Jesus and share the gospel everywhere they are sent.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
What is college missions in Africa?
We believe that there is a great awakening happening in the continent of Africa. Campus ministry is one of the most strategic mission fields. We desire to see the college students who will become the leaders of their communities know who their Father is. We want to disciple the future leaders of Africa so that they may make disciples who abide with their Father. The future leaders of Africa will lay down their lives to see the children of God around them find the love of Jesus.
